Sara Garcia, 93, of Goshen, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 12, 2008, at Courtyard of Goshen.

She was born in Edna, Texas, on December 15, 1914 to Serafin Sanchez and Barbarita Hinojosa.  She married Virginio Garcia.  He preceded her in death.

A homemaker, Mrs. Garcia moved to Goshen 46 years ago.

She is survived by three sons, Israel Garcia and Victor Garcia, both of Goshen, and Virginio Garcia of Corpus Cristi, Texas; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Isaias Sanchez of Imperial Beach, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virginio; three sons, Milton, David and Isaias "Sonny" Garcia; a daughter, Nina Davila; two brothers, Lupe and Manuel Sanchez; and two sisters, Paula Sanchez and Isidra Jimenez.

Friends will be received 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 18 at the funeral home.

A 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2008, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Juan Vega of the Iglesia del Buen Pastor, Goshen will officiate. 

Family will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m. to go to Violett Cemetery, Goshen for burial.
